Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Just what Illinois needs, a marijuana smoking, DEI supporting, incompetent, screaming, BLM adoring, ignorant democrat. She might as well start being cslled Senator
Ugh!
Who could be a better choice than the current lieutenant governor to be the next governor? Of course, the Dems felt that way with Harris in terms of the former VP being the next president.
I, too, know nothing about this person, other than her taking a lot of credit where she was likely a background player at best.
Gummy Gobblin’ Governor. Enjoy, IL!
The challenge here for any conservative is that, nothing will change. The race will take place, voting will happen, geographically the majority of the state will vote republican (if anyone runs) and Chicago, Bloomington, Springfield and Carbondale will vote democratic. Nothing will change. Who ever is elected will be a non-action person, focused on lining their own pockets and concentrating on social justice. This invisible loser (Never heard of her before), Raja and Underwood will of course be the headliners – all are the same and wouldn’t matter how you vote.
Ms Stratton touted the thousands of jobs created under the current administration. She just forgot to mention those jobs were created in states like Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin by the people fleeing Illinois taxes.
JB’s buying this one just like the supreme court.
I wish Ken would fund someone just to p… JB off.
I guess I need to pay closer attention to state politics, because I’ve never heard of her.
She should buy one from Blago at the Senators R Us store.
The fix is in a campaign address 24 hrs after Dick weed announces his retirement, bet ya Pritzker pumps hundreds of millions into her campaign, another worthless turd.
Julia Stratton (D – Yuck) is only the first pigeon to line up on this windowsill, right above taxpayers. There isn’t a sensible Democrat remaining in Illinois. Other choices? Raja. Underwood. <barf>
