This move confirms the land as "Indian country," ensuring the Nation can exercise sovereignty over the land.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Skip all this tribal lands stuff and concentrate on improving the lives of Native Americans.
The only crumb they get is the opportunity to run casinos – which benefits the connected and already wealthy.
