Illinois officials at odds on transgender sports – Center Square

"Why is it that the Republican candidates can't understand that the ought to let people live how they want to live," Pritzker said. "Let parents manage the challenge of their own child, whether they are transgender or they might have other challenges that they need to get through."

As a gay man, I find this whole “trans” thing absolutely nauseating – not only is it extremely misogynistic, but it is *not* science – based, e.g. one cannot change the makeup of one’s chromosomes. To me, “gender transition” smacks of the type of horrific “medical” experimentation that a Mengele would dabble in…

Excellent, I’ve said the same thing. It’ll will be looked at in the future the same as the despicable Lobotomy era, brought to you by the same full-of-sickos-profession.

JB must have been one unhappy messed up kid. It’s the only thing that can explain the twisted views he holds now.

If born female, you’ll still be female when you die.

If born male, you’ll still be male when you die.

No amount of surgery, drugs or wishing will change that.

“Transwomen” should be banned from competing against real females.

Where are the feminists? Biological males competing against biological females is simply spitting in the face of the hard fought female progress in sports.

For shame!

When my unranked 9th grade boys soccer team play my 12th grade girls ( ranked in top 10 of the state), both of whom I coach, the girls never stand a chance. There is a huge difference!!! By demanding “inclusion” you are denying girls their chance to develop their own confidence and skills, which is the whole point of kids sports!!! Your gender questionable kid needs hugs and support from their parent, not support from outside groups forced to accept them. Forcing acceptance does not build a community, it fractures it.

Why is it that democrats like round boy Pritzker cannot understand the chromosomes make up either a man or a woman and that one pretending to be opposite of what their chromosomes are does not make them what they are pretending to be?

Chicago Teachers Union contract demands are totally divorced from reality – Wirepoints

Details emerging about Chicago Teachers Union’s upcoming contract show just how divorced its demands, both extreme and expensive, are from the reality at Chicago schools. It’s not just about massive salary increases, but also about money for migrant students, climate initiatives, abortions and gender-affirming care. About blocking parental notification. Count on CTU’s demands to veer further from reality until the public finally says no.

Gov. Pritzker’s ‘ethics reform’ eliminates competitive elections and choice for voters – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about a new law passed by the Democratic supermajority and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that results in brazen election interference, keeping Republicans off ballots; about a referendum that tests the waters for a renewed progressive income tax hike; about how the Parental Notification referendum question was knocked off the ballot; and why laws like that pass so easily.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
