Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.

How about just a white bedsheet to symbolize the abject surrender of the slaves to the rule of their democrat masters. Any other flag would indicate virtue and self respect that doesn’t exist in Illinois.
The Marxist march to change/ erase previous history never ceases. The redesigned MN flag is the weakest piece of nothing to ever disgrace a flag pole and looks like it was designed by a half wit.
I am thinking of images of a pile of $hit, a very fat pig, handcuffs and a picture of the US Constitution with a red X over it.
Another waste of taxpayer money
Going to post my serious and snarky suggestions again:
Serious suggestion: use the colors orange, yellow, blue and green — orange and blue for the U of I; blue for waterways; green for soybeans; yellow to represent corn. Also incorporate Lincoln in some way (stovepipe hat, silhouette).
Snarky suggestion: include a one armed bandit, marijuana leaf and fetus in a circle/slash to represent the major industries of gambling, pot and abortion.
I think it should have a weasel on it.
A fat body politician with their hands full of cash standing next to a citizen with their pockets hanging empty inside out.
At every highway welcoming point coming in to Illinois.
