The Minority Teachers for Illinois Scholarship Program is not a private initiative; it is funded directly by appropriations from the state budget. The program received $1.9 million, $4.2 million, and $7 million from Illinois taxpayers in fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively. The scholarship program discriminates not only against white applicants, but women and non-black minorities as well.
Hmm…non black minorities….I think they mean Asians.

As the state of Illinois pushes DEI and woke at its public universities, the universities continue to decline in rankings in the US News best universities list. Pretty soon the attractiveness of these universities will be as low as that of our business and tax climates.

Pleased that a lawsuit is being filed. ILL GOP needs to openly stand up and publically denounce this.
By the way, as a PRIVATE INITIATIVE, can I fund a scholarship for Whites only?
