Obviously is some pork a couple of connected people wanted…meh, come on, just couple of Million…pocket change to the state government…This likely wasn’t ever seen by anyone in Springfield because they don’t get the budget with any lead time to review it, much less debate it and with that short or no review time…they only look at the big numbers.

I wonder who the owners of these facilities are politically connected to and how much they contribute to political campaigns.

Yep. Can’t give school vouchers for kids to escape CPS but on the bright side they can play pickleball. Talk about misguided leadership.
