This is the perfect opportunity for the Illinois Supreme Court to step in and stop J Beluga Pritzker from doing any more harm to the state. They should also take this opportunity to hold him personally liable for any financial harm he has caused the small businesses in Illinois as well.

The ball, whether they like it or not, is now in their court both literally and figuratively. At this point, no action becomes an action in itself.

“J Beluga Pritzker”

That’s easily the nickname yet. 10 Stars +++ for this name. Jabba, fat man bad, all of those names pale in comparison to J Beluga Pritzker. This is Trump worthy of a nickname.

Pritzker’s family is in Florida – so they’re not following his stated guidelines. Pritzker himself, along with his ISP bodyguards are now in Florida too, while he’s “quarantining” himself. Lightfoot gets herself a haircut, and refuses to provide adequate PPE for same police officers charged with enforcing this lock-down, and refusing to deep clean police station work-areas whenever a PO is diagnosed with Covid. Enough with the double-standards; these two grandstanders are destroying an already weak and financially-bankrupt local government.

It is stunning how Democrat legislators have abandoned the small businesses and workers of Illinois for their partisan politics. Stunning!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
