Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. It is a nauseating college. One of my children went there. Graduation was a parade of liberals politics as speaker after speaker denigrated this great nation and kept speaking how lucky we were and strongly spoke about white privilege (this was a few years ago). All my children graduated with 4.0/4.0 GPAs in STEM fields, to have it implied their success was due to anything other than a strong protestant work ethic, study, and parental expectations was infuriating.
Liberal, socialist indoctrination camps. My children all despise the colleges they went to and most of their alleged teachers.
