Rule number 1 for creating prejudice and divisiveness… Make it mandatory to be lectured about DEI… Go ahead… Do the research… The “consulting” firm studies that seek to demonstrate the importance and value of DEI are unable to illustrate ANY real (as measured by company valuations – stock price as one proxy) benefit from diversity.

The person who “gets the job” should be the best person – REGARDLESS of ethnicity… If it’s a tie, go ahead, pick whomever you want, but if it is not, you do society a disservice by not basing decisions on merit.

And Pritzker and Democrats don’t understand why so many kids go to college out of state.

This was on one of the morning programs with two high profile former CEO’s one of which is IBM where this program prepares you for the corporate world for $39 per month. It’s called Google Professional Certification Program. Seems legit and they said that 75K people have been placed so far and that a conventional college degree is not necessary along with the high debt associated with it to achieve success in the corporate world. It is all done online and something to look into. I will try to find the show it was featured on.

They’ll do away with this requirement when POC can’t pass the course.

So 19-22 year-olds are supposed to pay tuition– and maybe have to take out student loans– to pay for this childish dribble. Looks like the Wokester comedy show has move up the chain of command past the faculty level into the exec suite.

And they wonder why Illinois universities market share of Illinois high school students has been declining (particularly our brightest?). You do not need a college degree to figure that out. Who wants to be (or their kids to be) indoctrinated with this garbage?

Chicago Teachers Union contract demands are totally divorced from reality – Wirepoints

Details emerging about Chicago Teachers Union’s upcoming contract show just how divorced its demands, both extreme and expensive, are from the reality at Chicago schools. It’s not just about massive salary increases, but also about money for migrant students, climate initiatives, abortions and gender-affirming care. About blocking parental notification. Count on CTU’s demands to veer further from reality until the public finally says no.

Gov. Pritzker’s ‘ethics reform’ eliminates competitive elections and choice for voters – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about a new law passed by the Democratic supermajority and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that results in brazen election interference, keeping Republicans off ballots; about a referendum that tests the waters for a renewed progressive income tax hike; about how the Parental Notification referendum question was knocked off the ballot; and why laws like that pass so easily.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
