Illinois town holds Pride and Juneteenth parades, cancels July 4th celebration – Post Millenial

The town of Evanston, Illinois, is holding Pride and Juneteenth parades during the month of June, but canceling July 4 fireworks and Independence Day festivities.

Evanston is the Illinois equivalent of Berkeley, CA. It’s a radical, woke, liberal, far-left outpost of lunacy. It’s absurd that Evanston finds it acceptable to have in-person Juneteenth and gay pride celebrations, but not an in-person Fourth of July celebration under the argument that having an in-person Fourth of July celebration would be dangerous due to covid-19. the Juneteenth and the Pride parade are ok to have, but not the 4th of July because of “covid restrictions”.
So blacks and gays don’t get covid, they’re saying.
