Illinois unemployment drops along with nonfarm payroll jobs: IDES – WCIA (Champaign)

According to the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the unemployment rate in August was recorded at 4.4 percent, down 0.2 percentage points from the month prior. It’s the lowest unemployment rate since July of 2023, based on preliminary data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Check the numbers carefully. Those numbers could be altered T like the crime statistics. Remember, Pritzker wants to run for president and he doesn’t want to be exposed as a failure.
