‘I’m sick of this —-:’ Lightfoot speaks out on Colorado nightclub shooting – WGNTV (Chicago)

Mayor Lori Lightfoot spoke out against the mass shooting that took place at Colorado Springs LGBTQ+ nightclub Sunday morning. She tweeted: “I’m sick of this sh*t. How many people need to be murdered? How many lives torn apart? Until it actually stops? We don’t have to live like this. And we don’t have to die like this.”

There’s no evidence this was a hate crime. None at all. Maybe there will be. But right now, there isn’t. The Pulse nightclub strategy wasn’t a hate crime either. Horribly tragic of course, but not a hate crime. They weren’t targeted.

When these tragedies occur some of the most dangerous places in the world to stand are the spaces in between hypocritical virtue-signaling politicians like Little Lori, and news crews with cameras and microphones.

Analogous to putting yourself on a narrow trail in-between a hungry wart hog and a pumpkin patch.

Folks, there you have it right from the horse’s mouth. She ought to have one of those “Your Lives Don’t Matter” signs on her front lawn.

Oh, sure, she is sick of some shooting that happened 1002 miles away. Yet, she does nothing about shootings that happen in her back yard on a daily basis. Arrogant fool.

Ask Kim Foxx to vigorously prosecute repeat gun offenders, violent criminals, gang members etc. That would be a good start.

I’d be ecstatic if Chicago had the crime rate of Colorado Springs

“NOW” she’s tired of the shootings when they belong to the LBGTQ+ community but say’s next to nothing about the 652 shot and killed this year and over 3,000 wounded considering most if not all are NOT part of that group. A murder is murder regardless of your lifestyle.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
