Immigrants Will Soon Be Transported To Des Plaines, Governor Tells City – Journal and Topics

Mayor Andrew Goczkowski explained that the call from the governor’s office was designed to give him some advance notice. State officials did not say where the immigrants will be housed although he believes that they will be taken to a hotel near O’Hare Airport. Goczkowski said he was not told how many will be moved to Des Plaines and when.

Send them back, Des Plaines, just turn around those buses and SEND THEM BACK!

Chicago is a sanctuary city with lots of hotel rooms … SEND THEM BACK TO LORI LIGHTFOOT or drop them off at Pritzker’s mansion (the one WITH toilets).

Whoever Marty Moylan’s and Laura Murphy’s (D-Des Plaines) opponents are should be pounding on this. Tweet 100x a day blaming Marty and Laura for allowing the Gov. to drop these illegal immigrant criminals off into the community. Keep blaming them even when they deny it. And call them liars. Des Plaines certainly does not want these people and the community will hopefully vote accordingly. Pass the word on….

How about “why”. What reason, if any, did Pritzker give Des Plaines’ mayor for dumping illegal immigrants on his town?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
