Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. JB states repeatedly “all Illinoisan want this”. He’s wrong- no we don’t! Vote him out. But we will have to clean up voter fraud, because Dems don’t want voter rolls cleaned up. IL could do what Wi does, but they won’t.
Apparently part of this money went for undocumented people to obtain legal advice. Noncitizens, even if undocumented, are entitled to due process. This discussion, predating the current madness, is relevant.
Undocumented? What Pravda garbage. They are CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS. Anything else is Orwellian Newspeak.
JB should make up the 3.2 Billion from his own wealth since he is responsible for the debt.
