These 51% JB approval and 52% Durbin approval show the true level of Democrat support in this state. Statewide, Illinois isn’t nearly as blue as people think it is. Gerrymandering has destroyed the IL GOP and decreased turnout, because quite frankly, Republican votes don’t matter one bit in gerrymandered Democrat districts.
