Investigation of AT&T contracts in pay-to-play probe orbiting Michael Madigan examines funds to lobbyists, former state rep: Sources – Chicago Tribune*

Investigators are looking specifically at thousands of dollars in contract payments allegedly passed on to former state Rep. Edward Acevedo, a onetime member of Madigan’s leadership team who’d recently left the General Assembly, two sources familiar with the probe said.

These scumbags in Springfield are so corrupt they’re willing to risk prison, their reputation and their pension for a measly extra $2,500 a month…Pathetic.
