IRS data: Illinois lost 101K individuals and their $8.5 billion in income – Center Square

“This is, I think, the best sign of economic health or economic problems and that’s, are you winning the battle for people, are you winning the battle for wealth,” Wirepoints President Ted Dabrowski said. “Florida just continues to grow with people and investment and we’re at the other end … we’re losing our people, and we’re losing wealthy people. I will not be around in Illinois much longer sad to say enough of the bullshit greener pastures ahead who knows, but what I’d do know it will be much much cheaper to live and survive. Before I forget Pritzker and every stealing corrupt politicians pound sand your judgment days are coming and I hope painfully

Population numbers don’t tell the whole story – the IRS data is a better indicator of Illinois’ financial situation.

IL is losing revenue at an alarming rate and welcoming illegal aliens who further tax the already overburdened support system.

Illinois’ citizens who have supported this state throughout their working lives and paid taxes deserve to benefit from the state’s largess; individuals who enter our country illegally do not.

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
