Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. This is the definition of anarcho-tryanny. The Chicago/Cook County democrat machine, run by unpopular authoritarian old ladies, is so weak and feeble that it cannot control crime or provide safety to residents. So it focuses inward instead against its perceived threats to its waning power: the unmasked and the unvaxxed. They’re punishing law abiding citizens in a biomedical security state while the residents of Gotham are waiting for a real life Batman to save us all from the countywide carjackings, burglaries and murders.
