‘It’s more urgent now’: Protests have taken over Chicago. Here’s what to know"Just this week, Chicago is set to see at least six protests throughout the city, from a rally for Ukraine last Sunday to a march for International Women’s Day this Saturday. While the focus of each protest has varied, a common theme appears to unite them all: a rejection of Trump, Elon Musk and the administration’s attacks on constitutional and federal law."

The Democrat’s Brownshirts. They can’t win an election without cheating. When they lose an election they riot. The Pravda media backs them and spews lies and propaganda.

All protests are bought and paid for by the left. None of this is organic.

Sorry, Amar. We will not let you use our principles against us. These people are not exercising free speech. They are at minimum disturbing the peace, and in many cases committing assault. Your silly claims of free speech are only convincing to your lefty friends.

An interesting tidbit within the article “multiple chapters of the League of Women Voters of Illinois held protests during Trump’s address to Congress.” In addition to another article here this week we can now pretty much be assured that the League is not a politically independent organization and should have all benefits conveyed to non-partisan groups eliminated.

So many unemployed TDS programmed people in Illinois. Common sense is what it needed today, and these folks have none. Protest all you want, but you break windows and assault the Police…you get what you get.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
