Never had an original thought in his life. Just being against everything the current administration does isn’t a platform. You have to be FOR something, be authentic and not an empty actor. He fails on all counts.

Brand is right. Waddles is a brand, just like socialist millionaires AOC and Crack Pot Bernie. For the black folks, we got Crockett. For the alphabet crowd, South Bend Pete. Choose your favorite brand, Dems. Pepsi or Coke?

SMUG. Exhibiting or feeling great or offensive satisfaction with oneself or with one’s situation; self-righteously complacent.
The only words that came to mind or maybe another SMIRK as in the CEO Martin Shkreli Smirk to Congress.
To smile in an annoying self-satisfied manner.
To smile in an affected or conceited manner; to smile with affected complaisance; to simper

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
