A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
It’s difficult to accept that the neglect is intentional. They hate you, deplorable. They see conservatives as a bloodsucking leeches, siphoning away valuable resources from upstate Democrats. Sure, they’ll some money downstate – but only to Democrat controlled areas and unions: the universities, the prisons, state parks, the schools. Don’t believe me? Honestly, the best hope for downstate would be a legal secession, or break up from the rest of the state, or the rest of the state’s leadership declaring themselves a sanctuary from the northern half of the state’s insane laws. Danville is along the right track, banning abortion centers, in defiance of Springfield. Every downstate county and city needs to do this for everything, the state can’t play whack-a-mole; and there’s really nothing much they can do, outside out of court orders, to force people to enforce the laws.
Chicago has sucked this state dry. Even Detroit couldn’t do that to Michigan.
And Sheeetcago will continue to suck da state dry as long as da corrupt Dems are in charge.
