From the outset of the pandemic, as Chicago Public School teachers stayed at home, other city workers, cops, firefighters, paramedics, Streets & San workers, all showed up on the job... “So they worked,” (Paul) Vallas said. “They risked their lives. She called them heroes. And now she trashes them, to distract from the fact that the crime pandemic is out of control, the (police) beats in the neighborhoods are underserved, violence downtown. She uses her war on police and firefighters to distract from her record on crime and the state of the schools, and her budget.”

Yes, and the list of Washington exemptions is extensive.

Lori is telling us why she has the mandate. Because she wants to fire or force the resignation of hundreds or thousands of non-compliant officers. It’s as simple as that. She knows that it will likely result in a lot of ‘Home for Sale’ signs in the five remaining red voting neighborhoods – Mt. Greenwood, Beverly, Edison Park, Norwood Park and Bridgeport. The residents of these neighborhoods pose the biggest threat to her regime, so she calls them insurrectionists, and soon they will be gone!
