I’m going to guess that his personal police detail won’t be negatively impacted by these cuts. Brando proving he’s not the man for the job, not that it surprises anyone. The festering sore that is Chicago is getting more grotesque by the day.
Can any of you hear the subtle strains of “Nearer my God to Thee” Playing? I think you are all getting a sense of what it was like being on the Titanic.
How does this goof not understand that – call it what it is – defunding the police hurts black and brown neighborhoods the most? Chicago PD clearly has issues needing correction but throwing the baby out with the bath water is asinine. And he is enabled by Preckwinkle and even Pritzker and yet they continue to win elections. This is like living in a parallel universe.
Don’t leave home without it. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by six.
This is all theater to prep dopey taxpayer/homeowners for $$GIANT$$ tax hikes.
Brandon isn’t interested in prioritizing public safety because that would likely mean more people in jail. It’s that simple.
Think about what group of people would most likely be put in jail. I don’t think it’s the Amish or Norwegians or Polish. Maybe the Swedes depending on their alcohol consumption. LOL
