Johnson Sets Aside $150M to Care for Migrants in 2024, Less Than Half of 2023 Costs – WTTW (Chicago)

(WTTW News)The migrant crisis is likely to cost taxpayers $361 million between January and December 2023, an increase of more than 4% in the past week, according to updated financial projections released Thursday by the mayor’s office. the mayor asked the City Council to earmark less than the full projected cost to care for the migrants to acknowledge that the burden should not fall entirely on Chicago taxpayers, Deputy Chief of Staff Christina Pacione Zayas said.

My guess is that the Chitty paid $10,000 or more for each tent in the picture to a Democratic business. This is a great opportunity to rip-off the taxpayers.

Expensive North Face parkas and tents, catered meals from Whole Foods, free medical care at City/County hospitals, Uber credits, free phones – it’s what a welcoming city does. Funding city pensions (e.g., CPD, CFD, et. al.), get in line.

BJ shows his prowess in balancing the budget by this action. Simply setting aside half of what is needed based upon experience is a perfect way to balance budgets and when the actual bills come in cry for a bailout using tactics that may even include the race card. Budgeting by BJ that I believe is even better than the Edgar Ramp.
