Jonathan Turly: ‘An attack on one is an attack on all’: Time for a red-state NATO-like alliance on boycotts – The Hill

"From California to Illinois, legislators are moving to boycott any state contracts with businesses in states with anti-LGBTQ legislation or restrictive abortion laws. At the same time, many Democratic leaders are pressuring companies to boycott red states too."

Algorithmic, dystopian reactionary boycott of irrational destructive boycotts is the only logical response, in self defense.
Most of 815 Illinois area code will attend.

If states band together to declare economic war on other states, it will ultimately lead to other types of war. This country is armed to the teeth. The idiots on the left should stop this silliness before they create something they can’t get out of.

Interesting observation…

However I believe that as conservatives, we are not as prone to knee-jerk emotional over-reaction as the left is (there are exceptions of course), therefore I would not imagine an escalation into violence…

But, I do not have a crystal ball, so anything could happen…

This pact is a great idea, simply because it’s not based on any policy, just the mere fact of a boycott existing. Let’s hope thi ps takes off.

Classic leftism, you don’t agree with my viewpoints? Then I’ll attempt to ruin you and cancel you into submission. Illinois isn’t going to do business with red states? I’m not sure Illinois has anything to offer anymore. This will sink Illinois all for the sake of spite, much like most of the Illinois policies implemented.

The red states are scared to death of importing pretty much anything “produced” in the blue states due to the inevitable shit show that follows.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
