Judge: Democrats can’t change 2024 election rules now to block Republicans from fall ballot – Cook County Record

In her ruling, Sangamon County Circuit Judge Gail Noll said the decision by the Democratic majority and Gov. JB Pritzker to apply the changes to the 2024 election amounts to an unconstitutional violation of Republicans' right to vote this year. The ruling sets the stage for a potential showdown before the Illinois Supreme Court over the law's ultimate fate. The court's order is here.

Highly unlikely, unless Tiffany Henyard is a transgender, non-binary, Venezuelan, so-called “immigrant.” In that case, we could sadly expect 100% Democrat support.

Just remember when the establishment doesn’t like one ruling, they will seek out a favorable judge that will … the bought and paid for Illinois Supreme Court that pritzger funded -we all saw it with the gun and magazine ban tyranny

Illinois need to clamp down on the Dems. Everything they do is to protect their power. They only do things for select groups while hurting everyday citizens and driving out businesses

I had the same initial reaction this morning – terrible that the knee jerk is that it’ll go to the Ill. Supreme Court and they will simply go back to the original law, but I have a hard time coming up with examples as to why we shouldn’t feel that way.
