JudicialWatch Sues State of Illinois for Refusing to Disclose Voter Roll Data in Violation of Federal Law – Press Release

The Illinois Conservative Union sent a public records request under this provision to the Illinois State Board of Elections, requesting information about the maintenance of voter rolls, including the most recent voter registration list for Illinois. The request noted that the records “would be used solely for purposes intended by federal law, namely, to ensure the accuracy and currency of the official list of eligible voters,” the complaint said.

The State Board of Elections denied the request, claiming that only political committees or governmental bodies may receive copies of records.

Here is a similar press release from the Illinois Conservative Union PAC (ICU PAC aka ILPAC).

“‘When crafting the NVRA, the intent of Congress was to enable the public to monitor the accuracy of our nation’s voter rolls,'” said Carol Davis, Chairman, Illinois Conservative Union.”

Relatedly ICU has an Illinois Election Integrity Program where one can educate themselves and become involved in election integrity at the local level.

Why haven’t we had appeals and supreme referrals about the clearly illegal and unconstitutional extension of Fat Boy’s 30 day lockdown? That’s 6 months already!

He’s literally been in contempt of court since July 2. The corruption in the state that looks past this is astounding.

No wonder know one trusts the authorities. There should be a tax revolt, the US is a joke in most of its states, legally. The Feds have a ton of BS and made up stuff against us too, especially the FBI.

JudicialWatch has had success in several states in similar suits so there is hope.

It takes a year? By that time we’ve already been locked down 10x past the 30 day “emergency”. See? Law is a joke, it’s only there for those that don’t need it, weird huh

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
