In Kavanaugh’s defense he probably thought he was being punked, knowing the Illinois GOP would never be capable of holding a large gathering.

Not true. And instead of snarking or complaining why don’t you join us? Go to Facebook or google for NWS GOP Club or Chicago Republican Party.

You mean join the party of Brady and Durkin and Rauner and Edgar and Ryan and Kirk and Topinka? ROTFLMAO. They’ve aided and abetted the taxing and bankrupting of this state.

I think of it differently. And if you bother to read Wirepoints then I’ll assume that you haven’t entirely given up on Illinois. So, I’ll suggest three things: 1. In case you haven’t been paying attention, the Illinois RINO’s are going extinct. The disgusting go-along-get-along “republicans” like Jim Edgar are being pushed out of the IL Republican party mostly by force from Chicago Republicans. 2. Whatever you can say about Rauner, he was no RINO. The biased press narrative is that nothing happened during his four years as governor. In Illinois I’ll take that as a victory. During those four… Read more »

This is insane. Illinois RINOs are in charge at every level. There is no Peter Fitzgerald in the state of Illinois. None. Not one. Not even a Pate Philip. There is Durkin and Brady. Erica Harold, Jim Oberweis, perpetual losing candidates. Those are your leaders. Congratulations. Rauner not a RINO. I must be conversing with Mark Kirk here. He passed pro-abortion funding laws. Sanctuary state passed by Rauner. Gave his blessing to a Republican joined tax hike. Bailed out Chicago Public Schools. Never mentioned President Trump by name. I’m not attempting to help you. I’ve been out since your party ran off Fitzgerald. You’re free to elect your Illinois GOP bootlickers. Good luck with that.

HOW does this comport with the ruling that all provisions/limitations stemming from the E.O. are VOID??! We seem to have a minimum of folks in the judiciary that can reference their own field of work.

Keep laughing out loud when the commercial for JibberBlabber comes on… How lucky we are… What a great dictator, whoops, I mean leader he is… Pensions are healthy, services are up, bills are paid, taxes are low, businesses and individuals are moving to our state in droves… All rainbows, kittens, and unicorns.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
