Kia and Hyundai should only agree with this recall if these states with high car theft rates pay Kia and Hyundai for the cost of the recall.

The Illinois Attorney General in collaboration with Cook County states attorney agree to prosecute owners of Kia and Hyundai automobiles because those automobiles commit too many crimes

This is almost as bad as claiming guns are responsible for murders.

I’ll keep the Hyundai and recall Kwame if that’s an option.

No punishment for the thieves just the automakers. We know that they are easy to steal so why don’t the police set up sting operations? Put a few Kias and Hyundais around high theft areas and have the cars full of hidden cameras and set them up to shut off the engine. Smile your on Candid Police Camera. Then they can be arrested and later let go by Kim Foxx.Simple!

They would have to catch and prosecute criminals then. And we certainly cannot have that!
