Controlled opposition.

Dillard is a RINO who hired outfit connected types and Chicago dems when he was chief of staff to Edgar. Real Republicans were not hired by him and Janis Cellini. Crook Edgar lawyer Jim Montana facilitated the Edgar corruption. He is pure garbage and needs to be exposed for the kind of criminal he truly is.

I would literally vote for ANY conservative to get Pritzker out of office. We have no balance in this state. The Dems are gobbling up conservatives. Do you think a guy like Bailey is going to win in a state like this? Table that attitude and help.

I should also say, I am hoping Griffin runs. I think he will beat him. But I will hold my nose and vote for Dillard if he doesn’t… or anyone else with a chance at beating Pritzker.

Controlled opposition is the only way porky loses.

I.e., the vote counters don’t mind if he wins.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
