Kristi Noem blasts JB Pritzker in Springfield, Illinois governor responds – NBC5 (Chicago)

"This governor has bragged about Illinois being a firewall against President Trump's immigration enforcement agenda, and it is very clear that he has violating the Constitution of the United States because it is a federal law that the federal government and the president set and enforce immigration policies," U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said.

In case you haven’t heard…. the new Pope is Robert Cardinal Prevost (Leo XIV), a native of Chicago!

Noem was VERY effective at simply stating the facts, and the facts are damning of Pritzker and his wanton disregard of the Constitution and Federal laws.

In many ways I hope Noem does not take any type of criminal action against Pritzker over this. Pritzker would love to have a picture poster of himself being arrested for his campaign that would be plastered by every left wing media source making him a martyr for the cause. I would suggest simply ignoring him and cutting off funding because without the funding Illinois will be a disaster for continuing its sanctuary programs…and that headline Pritzker can’t afford to happen

Arrest Pritzker and protect the Homeland like he desires! The bloviating fat man is going to reap the whirlwind . I predict he will cry like a little girl when the handcuffs go on.

Hear hear! Once Trump really lets ICE get to work, the pro-immigrant, anti-American policies of Pritzker and his ilk will mean nothing.

Deport the illegals. Deport the legals. Deport the criminals. Deport the law-abiding. Deport them ALL.

Laws change all the time and there is no reason Trump can’t change them to reclaim America. Heck, I’d love to see him do just that if it meant we get our country back.

Nothing but the US constitution. Maybe you should go back and watch some school house rock and learn how a bill becomes a law. Presidents can’t change laws. In case you can’t find the video let me help you out. Members of congress, aka lawmakers, are responsible for changing laws. Presidents only sign them into law or veto.

Presidents set the agenda. That is, except for the previous four years when the extreme left wing of the DNC wagged the legislative branch. During that time with no one at the wheel of the Ship of State, Federal agencies essentially ran themselves.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
