Lakeview’s Agassiz School Ditching Name Of Racist Scientist, Set To Become Harriet Tubman IB World School – Block Club Chicago

This will make the Lakeview elementary school the first CPS building to change its name through the district’s review process, which launched after a review found 30 schools are named after slaveholders.

Told you so, I keep repeating it. BIPOC have no use for the white mans history’s. They are taking what they now believe belong to them and making it their own. They won’t stop until there is no trace of Chicago’s former white inhabitants.
