This animal like behavior is encouraged by ex con alderman Burnett and racist mayor Lori as well as the rest of the black caucus as this is what community policing has become. Let the animals do what they want and consider this ridiculous behavior part of the demented culture of the ghetto.

“Residents want it to stop”? I thought loud gatherings and twerking on police cars were part of “POC culture”, supposedly now as esteemed as “white privilege values” of civility, good manners, and law-abiding comportment. After all, we watched twerking and sexually-explicit entertainment on a recent TV awards show. Isn’t this sort of behavior now normalized, mainstreamed as socially-acceptable conduct? These complaining neighborhood residents should actively embrace, and strongly advocate “no broken window” former :good neighborhood” policing policies. They should complain loudly to City Hall, to Lightfoot and their Alderpersons, and demand police to be again allowed to actually “police”. Misdemeanors… Read more »

“These complaining neighborhood residents should actively embrace, and strongly advocate “no broken window” former :good neighborhood” policing policies.” Or move to the suburbs, or leave the state entirely, like over 500,000 of the former residents of these neighborhoods have done in the past decade. Hmmm….not sure I missed something? Is there a legitimate complaint here? Are expectations so low we won’t accept a non shooting event?

Walt, they are you. Years of liberal policy culminating in the recent victimization of the criminal and demonization of the victim (via white privvy, etc.) have resulted in a populace that lacks standards, values, and expectations – one where there is no personal accountability and where folks have traded their personal agency for freebies and votes.

What are you talking about? This is merely a week long Bacchanalian festival, in the ways of the ancient Greeks, celebrating good fortune and the end of coronavirus!!!! They’re dancing and twerking on cars because they are celebrating drunkenly in the streets, life is a fun party!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
