House Bill 4888 would create a uniform statewide drug take-back program operated and funded by drug manufacturers. It would require covered manufacturers – those licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration – to create programs either independently or jointly with other manufacturers before July 1, 2021.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
