Lawmaker says Illinois behind 44 states in legislative transparency – Center Square

Transparency concerns are often heightened by late-night legislative sessions, particularly during budget negotiations. Illinois House Minority Leader Rep. Tony McCombie noted that in past years, key votes and amendments have taken place in the early morning hours, when most residents are unable to attend or watch proceedings live.

There is no transparency in IL. This is demonstrated by Raoul suing to block the release of records of federally funded programs. Dems preventing the revaluation of widespread fraud in IL. The Secretary of State won’t even inform the election board when people change their address, so as to ensure Dems can vote multiple times from multiple addresses. IL doesn’t clean up the voter rolls either.
