Lawmaker wants to block Pritzker from paying staff with private dollars – Center Square

Gov. JB Pritzker doles out $1.5 million a year to subsidize the salaries of 15 employees in his administration in addition to the $1.6 million taxpayers pay.

Better idea – Force JB to create a fund, controlled by some state agency, that can be used by all future governors to supplement gubernatorial staff salaries.

After all, once JB leaves office, how is his replacement going to staff? The new kids are going to take a 50% pay cut. Race to the bottom!
