Representatives Mike Zalewski and Kam Buckner filed what they call proactive legislation Thursday. Zalewski explained, “We’ve already invested taxpayer money into Soldier Field and before we begin a project on a new stadium, we should take our time and make sure the taxpayer investment is being protected in the existing investment.”

Great, politicians who are fiscally responsible…..until the envelopes are handed over. Then it’s a wonderful opportunity to partner in a respectful and collaborative endeavor. It’ll be wonderful. Arlington Heights will be invaded by mongrels. I see a massive boondoggle. Why not a hyper loop from the southside. We’ll also need that third airport for all the tourists. To save money just remove the pottie chair insert and move it to the Heights Nay, just dismantle Soldier Field and move it! Saves the city the trouble of just dumping it in North Lawndale.
