Lawmakers pass bill to strengthen Illinois’ ability to set its own vaccine guidelines – Chicago Tribune/Yahoo

“Efforts like this are driven more by politics than by science,” Emily Hilliard, a spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services, said of the bill. “The same Democrat-led states that imposed unscientific school closures, toddler mask mandates, and vaccine passports during the COVID era are now claiming to ‘restore trust’ in public health.

I’m glad I don’t have a school-aged kid! If they haven’t included it in this bill they will add “mandated vaccines” to attend school to future legislation. March on Communists!

Marxists like to have unelected and unaccountable and not transparent ‘committees’ dictate to the people. The cult of Leftist Democrats will fall right in line like sheeple.

Illinois funding from the government just got a little smaller. Who cares about science anyway?

I was on the fence about a Covid booster, but now that I know that the state recommends it I’m definitely not going to get one.

As are Hillary, “ the 51 “ that helped cover for Hunter Biden, etc. If all that deserved to be locked up for crimes committed during Autopen’s tenure were, it would take forever, they would be released by lib judges anyway and it would distract from the number one priority- ridding America of illegals before the next presidential election.

Yeah, I don’t think I want anyone in Illinois state government dictating healthcare and vaccine requirements. They have proven themselves susceptible to influence, corruption and political manipulation on every topic or issue. That said…we won’t have anything to say about it anyway, those decisions will be made in the same dark room most deals are made in Illinois.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
