Why do members of the General Assembly allow people to hold two or more paid elected offices simultaneously??? Did you know that an Illinois Senator and Representative can also be a township supervisor, road commissioner or assessor? Getting paid and retire benefits from both? Over 6,000 bills a year go through the law-making process and (double-dipping continues) to being over-looked, year-after-year? Do not vote for those who think DOUBLE-DIPPING is okay!!!
As many state, county and municipal workers are denied Social Security benefits or have their EARNED benefits reduced by 60-80% because in the words of the famous convicted felon, democrat Dan Rostenkowski, those people are double dippers.
