Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.

This spoiled, communist, Hamas apologist AWFL will do well in Jan’s district. Illinois voters are among the dumbest in the nation, alas. They sent to Washington imbecile Raja and the ‘Twin Dolts of the Apocalypse’ Casten and Foster. The blue haired cat ladies will turn out in droves for this urchin.
Just what we need in Illinois. All the guile and intelligence of AOC, the wit and wisdom of Crockett, the policies of Bolshevik Bernie, and the vocabulary of Andrew Dice Clay (without the charisma).
Jan is extremely entrenched and popular in her district and has tens of thousand of loyal primary supporters. She will not lose. This is a grift for this primary challenger to build up a war chest for a future race where she can take out an incumbent. AOC’s win was a one-off – a primary election with 10% turnout on a snowy day in New York where the only candidate on the ballot was an unpopular Rep. who didn’t even live in the district.
AOC got re-elected. She’s dumb as a stump, but voters in her district are even lesser creatures.
What we need is anything BUT a democrat.
