Lightfoot Calls For ‘Statewide Ban’ on ‘Weapons of War’ After Garfield Park Mass Shooting – NBC5 (Chicago)

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Tuesday posted a statement to Twitter "urging" state legislature to act after a drive-by mass shooting Monday in the city's Garfield Park neighborhood left at least 14 people injured, including 3 children.

Great idea! As soon as a law like that passes the miscreants who did this shooting will turn in their firearms as required. Another genius idea by an unqualified politician.

Mundungus Lightfoot is a great mayor. Now she’s blaming the state legislature for Chicago’s problems which she created! What a champ she is, a real scrapper. I’m surprised she even acknowledged it happen; it’s so unlike her!
