Lightfoot defends first deputy for canceling ritual at morgue for Officer Ella French – Chicago Sun-Times*

The mayor made no effort to hide her anger when asked Wednesday why she ignored the family’s wishes. “I don’t force my way anywhere. And that’s offensive, frankly, that you would ask me that question. ... It really does a disservice to the moment that we’re in. Come on. Give me a break. What else are you gonna mine from the bottom of the chum barrel?

Again she finds herself in the middle of a mess she created then babbles nonsense. Delayed exponentially? WTF does that mean? She’s a real show when she’s raving!

LL stated,” I don’t force my way anywhere. And that’s offensive, frankly.” Her mere presence is offensive to anyone who loved this city when it was not under control of a megalomaniac. Her “leadership” has destroyed this city for the near term and maybe for the long term, too. She has nothing but hate for a large percentage of the population, especially every police officer except for her upper echelon toads. She needs to resign and move in with the Cuomos
