I wonder if this is even considered for mental health. Lack of quality food choices especially in food desert parts of inner cities make it difficult to address mental health. A high quality multi vitamin AND mineral /Vit D/Omega 3’s will go a long way to addressing this problem. Instead politicians will debate until the end of time and hand out dozens of mood altering drugs/SSRI’s/etc which only “maybe” treat the symptoms. It would not cost much and some of the local clinics could do a study.

Good point – good nutrition and proper hydration are essential to mental acuity and stability. Wonder how many lives might have been saved if monitoring of vitamin D levels were mandated during the COVID outbreak instead of emergency use vaccines, lockdowns, social distancing, and masks. I not aware of anyone dying or being disabled by being screened for vitamin D levels, but I do know that experimental vaccines have produced serious and sometime fatal side effects.
