"I think our media plays a very important role in our democracy, but you lose me, you lose me when it’s a race to the bottom and it's all about the fight and it’s all about the conflict," she said. "I've got to tell you, some of the reporting I've seen this week is just sickening. We all need to ask ourselves what we can do better to show our people everywhere that we have the capacity to be human beings again."

She complains, but I have yet to hear her call out Foxx for why the killer was out of jail for the felony he had going. She likes what Foxx is doing, because the police don’t like seeing their arrests back on the street in a few hours. Lightfoot has always hated the rank and file cops she’s demonstrated that over and over. Have you ever heard her say “I love the police”? I suspect Lori is going into hiding for the weekend. Why go out and provide her detractors an opportunity to publicly give her the finger! Caught on camera but only shown in the UK media. Chicago, maybe a month after. Maybe!

This from someone who said, “And I will code what I really want to say to Donald Trump. It’s two words. It begins with F and it ends with U.”
