Progressives are the most ideologically pure on the American political spectrum. They would rather lose a race but be pure in their platform.
Conservatives are more pragmatic bunch which is why we have RINOs. They are Republicans but tend to be less idealogically pure. I know there are a few DINO’s too but far fewer of them.
