Lightfoot urged to give Police Supt. David Brown a few more months to turn around ‘crime pandemic’ or dump him – Chicago Sun-Times*

“I am not at all ... happy with CPD and their leadership. They need to step up in a big way and stop this crime pandemic themselves. They need to find a way to recruit more people. That’s on them. The mayor can only do so much," Ald. George Cardenas said. “I said the leadership. That means the entire group if things don’t change as we get into 2022."

Hmmm…..Brown went to Lori and wept, he feels vulnerable after a slap from the city council. Lori recognizes she won’t find anyone stupid enough, besides Eric Carter, to want the job. Brown is good for dog and pony shows. He can’t stand on his mark for the entire rant. Carter would get bored and play with himself.

Last time I checked, violent crimes weren’t committed by police, they are committed by criminals. Policing is REACTIVE, not proactive. Your points are too logical! They expect magic not logic. You efforts to present counterpoints to TNT doesn’t register with the deaf and blind by choice crowd.

Give legitimate promotional exams and promote qualified candidates to supervisory positions instead of giving command jobs to politicians kids, relatives and campaign donors requests.

Nobody can fix this problem. And that’s just the way Lori, Toni and Lil Kim like it. Governor and Social Justice Warrior Jabba looks on with approval.

It’s a perfect setup for Lori. Blame someone else for the wreckage she’s created! She’s micromanaged the collection of dopes in leadership positions. Brown’s role has been nothing more than stand on a stage mark for the dog and pony shows. Perhaps the answer is another hand picked imbecile. Lori Is an expert!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
