Lightfoot vaccine deadline could trigger city worker firings – Illinois Policy

Police are not included. A separate ruling on the arbitration between Lightfoot and the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police over the vaccine mandate deadline is expected soon. There are 2,967 police employees listed as unvaccinated, or about one in four.

Easy way to defund the police department. Anybody think that crime is out of control? Get serious about Covid vaccinations, fire 3000 cops and then watch the crap show.

The covid vax mandates, the forced overtime, cancellation of days off, 12 hour shifts all summer long, COPA constantly looking over your shoulder, a community that hates you, and a new academy class so small they could fit in to a mcdonalds (and most are likely defund the police ideologues themselves)….that’s how you defund the police without actually defunding the police. And she’s trying to handle the political fallout from the massive crime increases by blaming Foxx, for which she rightly deserves much of the blame.
