Public sector workers need to make changes. They continue to financially break the backs of the taxpayers who are not getting the perks and benefits. they are. We are overtaxed as it is.

We need politicians that have a background in finance. Many or our pols now have no idea how to handle large sums of money. Sen. Stadelman-Rockford was a news anchor And I add not too bad of one. Eric Sorensen now U.S. Rep was a weatherman from Rockford. He may have gotten the weather right 50% of the time.
Does anyone have a list of Illinois pols as to what their background was? How many are qualified to handle a $50B budget. They rarely if ever calculate the costs when presenting a bill.
