Locals protest illegal alien housing center in Chicago – National Conservative

Many of the protesters have engaged in explicit racial rhetoric. In this video, we see a protest leader telling the media that the Mayor would never dump Blacks in a White, Asian, or Latino community. She calls on the migrants to be housed in Little Village, a 95%+ Latino community.

I wonder if the Dems see any implications for their dream of a coalition of people of color, all united together against the “oppressors”? It seems there may be some flaws in that logic.

what’s most interesting to me, so far, with regard to takeover of empty CPS school in Woodlawn for immigrants is the silence from all the mayoral candidates and the mighty CTU?????

NIMBYism knows no race. Everyone wants homeless shelters and Section 8 housing built in someone else’s neighborhood.

This situation gives you a good idea how difficult it’s going to be for Chuy to get votes in the South and West sides. The Black community already feels like they’re being usurped by outsiders. This won’t help.

The sad reality is low income blacks & latinos (NIMBY stage prop people) don’t vote, the vote #’s are abysmal. NIMBYs & city worker vote 100% of time. Just look at who elected lightweight. All the heavy voter turnout was on N-NW side, hyde park, beverly/mount greenwood. all the pols, press, unions know it

Some black wards have high turn out. That’s where they bury the fraud. The rumor is that the poll workers are doing the voting. Because let’s be honest, is there any political will to audit the vote of Englewood, Austin or Woodlawn? of course not, that’s racist. Biden’s DOJ would shut down immediately any Republican state rep who tried to investigate the fraud as a civil rights violation.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
