As of November, there are 1,260 offenders under the adult probation, including 208 for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, two for reckless homicide, and 11 for attempted murder. Under the chief judge, offenders are free to roam around during the day; they just have a curfew they need to be home by.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
